CII-Yi-HCSC-VST Initiative: City Police Hospital inaugurated

Hyderabad Confederation of Indian Industry- Young Indians (CII-Yi), Hyderabad Chapter, Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) with the support of VST Industries Ltd have established a state of the art hospital dedicated to the frontline workers namely police personnel. The 10-bed medical facility with modern facilities will be named City Police Hospital.
The 2nd wave of the pandemic had been lethal to our country, frontline workers, particularly police personnel faced the onslaught with strong resilience and commitment along with their families. However, some of them contracted Covid.
Considering the need, care, and importance of medical attention for them, the CII-Yi has taken up the initiative.
The hospital has following facilities:
• Initial investigation and medical monitoring
• Round- the-clock patient monitoring
• Oxygen supply
• Doctor consultation rooms
• A fully equipped lab
Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of police-Hyderabad City insugurated the hospital. Addressing the police personnel, Anjani Kumar said, "During the pandemic, police has emerged as face of compassion and it was a great opportunity to serve the people and then that I had to proudly to say that every police officer has worked with lot of dedication and a close bonding between the police and public was established."
Shikha Goel, Addl Commissioner of Police- Crimes and SIT said, "The project was taken up as part of the CSR initiative by the industry body CII & Young Indians Hyderabad, CII Foundation supported by VST Industries Ltd. The 10 bedded hospital was build in less than a month's time with an intention to serve the police community and their families who serves the society.
